Extra informatie	De Pikaplant is een calathea elliptica plantje, in Nederland gekweekt, en voorzien van water en voedingsstoffen voordat ze hermetisch worden afgesloten in de glazen stolp. Het water, de voedingsstoffen en zuurstof in de jar worden door de planten hergebruikt. De potten bootsen de natuurlijke vochtige biotoop /leefomgeving van de plant na. Verzorgingstip: Pikaplant kan zo'n beetje op elke plek wel gedijen maar niet in rechtstreeks zonlicht. Dan wordt het te warm onder het glas en kan de plant schade ondervinden. Eén van de prototypes van de Pikaplant Jar leeft ondertussen al 30 maanden in z’n minibiotoop en recycleert dus water en lucht.
Extra information	The Pikaplant is a calathea elliptica that has been grown in Holland and provided with water as well as with nutritious substances before having been hermetically sealed in a glass jar. The water, nutritious substances and oxygen in the jar are continuously recycled by the plant. The jars mimic natural high-humidity biotopes/the biotope of the plant. Care instruction: Not to put in direct sunlight. When it becomes too hot in the jar, the plant may get damaged. One of our original Pikaplant Jar prototypes has been flourishing happily for over 30 months without opening.
